Welcome to the Tyranny Dissolution Amendments website. The Tyranny Dissolution Amendments proposed by Timothy Villareal seek to establish greater constitutional checks on an increasingly imperial modern-day Executive branch. The proposed amendments to the United States Constitution have three aims:

-The modernization of the United States Senate as a check on Executive power.

-The expansion of the impeachment principle throughout the Executive branch.

-The placement of tighter constraints on the Executive’s ability to bring the American people into foreign military conflicts that are not acts of war declared by Congress .

The Tyranny Dissolution Amendments, rooted in Lockean philosophy and ideals, are necessary instruments to ensure that the continuous, peaceful dissolution of tyrannical impulses and measures in American government can be realized in the modern era.
